Menehune Cobblestone socks

Pattern: Menehune Cobblestone Socks by Adrienne Fong
Yarn: Crystal Palace Panda Cotton in Painted Iris
needles: size 1 (2.25 mm) Susan Bates dpns
size: medium
mods: none

I knew my tension was different between socks and the leftover from each skein proves it. I knit the legs at 5.75" as the designer did instead of the 6" stated in the pattern. I think that if anyone else knits this pattern with a foot length greater than 9.5" will definitely need a third skein.

About 11 inches into the body of my Ribby Pulli.

Extending the collar on the monkeys' red riding hood and increasing on the fly. It'll fit Monkey2 better than Monkey1, but Monkey1's going to work it for all she's worth.

OMG! You are amazing, girl! I'm glad I didn't stall out on my Ribby Pulli too long, since you are scooting right along on it! We may actually finish much closer together this time. Uh...yeah-I still have that second Kew to do!-lol! Good thing I gave myself a 2 month headstart on you! ;)

Hey WaitAMinute! Are you finishing up UFO socks before your August STR club socks arrive?!?! Are they there yet? I can't wait: I've been looking at spoilers because i am naughty. Nice socks!

Very cushy socks.

But that Red Riding Hood thing... it's amazing. I'm vastly impressed. No, impressed doesn't even begin to describe it. You are amazing.

Those socks are just perfect!! Love the pattern and colorway together!

And I have to agree with Batty! The Red Riding Hood looks amazing! Great job!!

your menehunes came out very, very nice. i think that both the newer panda wool and cotton balls will have the longer yardage.

yes, i sweated the toe of the "fly away home" sock. i think i had about a foot of yarn left...but it was my fault since i insisted on knitting with a MUCH smaller gauge than i needed.
